Ruddy Shelduck/Egyptian Goose Hybrid

Both of the species that make up this individual are not uncommon in the county.   Egyptian Geese now breed in the south of the county along the Thames and Ruddy Shelduck may also have bred.   Ruddy Shelduck in particular are common in wildfowl collections.
