Pintail  Anas acuta

Little Marlow GP - 22nd February 2003

This species has previously not shown a great liking for Little Marlow, with most birds departing within a day or so.   However, during February 2003, up to five birds have regularly been seen at the site. 

College Lake -   13th December 2001

The is not a particulary common species in Bucks although there are a reasonable numbers during most years.   The species has a preference for sites north of the Chiltern escarpment and College Lake just about matches that criteria.
