The Bucks Bird Club has had close ties with the BTO for may years.   When the club was first formed the BTO was based in Tring and many BTO staff members were also members of the Bucks Bird Club.  David Glue, a research ecologist with the BTO is President of the club;  Professor Rob Fuller, Director of Science (ecological Change), was Chairman of the club in the early 1980s, Peter Lack, Information Services Manager was co-author of the Birds of Buckinghamshire that was published in 1993; John Marchant, Projects Coordinator was County Recorder in the early years of the club.  Over the years these and many other BTO staff have presented many talks at BBC indoor meetings and conferences.
