A Yellow-browed Warbler at Bow Brickhill was very a big surprise. More pictures available on the species page, with more better quality, images added on 9th and 12th April, plus 9th May.
This White Stork was seen by a lucky few as it flew over S Bucks. Pictures of the White Stork from Denham, in July, also on this page.
This Ring-billed Gull was at Little Marlow GP from 16th July until 6th August. Additional photo added Oct 2004.
This Stone Curlew was present at College Lake for just two days
This is the Cetti's Warbler that has taken up residence at Caldecotte Lake.
This Ring-necked Duck was at Foxcote during March.
Several Common Scoters turned up at the end of March.
A pair of Garganey were a surprise find at Jubilee River.
This Scandinavian Rock Pipit stayed for several days at Little Marlow GP
This Water Pipit was also at Little Marlow GP
This Bittern was present at Tongwell Lake for some time early in the year. More Bittern pictures were added later in the year.
Grasshoppers Warblers were again "reeling" in Wendover Woods
This Blue-headed Wagtail was well watched at Startops Reservoir
This is one of a pair of Black-necked Grebes seen at Weston Turville Reservoir on 10th April.
This Curlew Sandpiper was at Linford in late April.
This Turnstone at Pitstone was a welcome tick for several of the counties year listers. Another at Willen Lake was also photographed.
Two separate Whimbrels were photographed during May. This one was in North Bucks.
This Sanderling was at Willen Lake briefly during mid-May.
While not exactly in Bucks, this superb Hoopoe did wander over the border during it's stay at Towersey in early May.
